The evolution of the sun-blind

In the more industrialised countries, more than 35% of energy consumed is used for lighting and air-conditioning in both public and private environments.

Reducing the use of (combustible) energy for lighting and air-conditioning of buildings that are used prevalently during the day (hospitals, offices, schools, shopping centres etc.,) means reducing hothouse gases in the atmosphere and consequently contributing to cutting atmospheric pollution.
